About your roleAs an Assistant in Nursing (AIN), you will work under the supervision of Registered and Enrolled Nurses to provide direct and indirect person-centred care to residents of Redland Residential Care.
You will play a key role in supporting the health and wellbeing of residents while maintaining a safe and compassionate care environment.
In this role you will: Assist with daily living activities such as hygiene, feeding, and mobility
Observe residents and report changes in their condition
Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents and staff
Support ward/unit routines including restocking and equipment checks
Participate in training to maintain competencies and develop skills
Contribute to a positive team culture by communicating effectively and showing empathy About you
We are seeking a caring, reliable, and team-oriented Assistant in Nursing who is passionate about delivering safe and respectful care to residents in an aged care setting.
You will have: Certificate III in the relevant clinical area - highly regarded
Ability to work collaboratively under supervision and follow care plans
Good communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centred approach
Physical ability to perform manual handling and personal care duties
Flexibility to work shifts across a 24/7 roster and different Metro South Health sites
