This position has been created to design, develop and implement IBM Cognos reports, providing insights from our company data sets to meet business reporting and analytical needs. This will enable our managers to make informed decisions on a proactive rather than reactive basis. This is a full-time position on a 6 months fixed term contract.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following:

- Work collaboratively with the Systems Accountant/Business Unit to design, develop, implement and manage IBM Cognos reports & dashboards to support business needs
- Develop and maintain operational / strategic reports and dashboard
- Ensure high levels of data integrity in the data governance process
- Deliver and maintain corporate reporting environment
- Adhere to internal processes and procedures
- Perform projects on time

To be successful in this role you will ideally demonstrate:

- Strong knowledge and hands on experience with IBM Cognos report creation
- Strong knowledge and hands on experience writing complex MS SQL queries
- Good knowledge of Pronto ERP platform
- Experience with report writing utilizing multiple data warehouse platforms
- Good understanding of Corporate Information models and data governance practices
- Understanding of Infrastructure and database platforms
- Understanding of developing customer reporting requirements
- The ability to effectively manage your time and prioritize competing activities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and experience
- Professional in appearance, attitude and presentation
- Proactive identification and management of any potential issues
- Good track record working within a project team, adhering to project schedules, and required deadlines
