Employee Development Specialist

The role of an Employee Development Specialist involves supporting the implementation and execution of employee development workshops, programs, and projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for content design and support, as well as maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS).

  • Facilitate face-to-face and virtual workshops and programs to enhance personal skills, including time management, communication, emotional intelligence, difficult conversations, and team effectiveness.
  • Provide administrative and organizational support for the workshops and programs, including arranging training logistics, managing participant registrations, and preparing assessment tools.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and deliver learning solutions that build employee capability.
  • Record completion of learning and personal development on the LMS and provide reports to support compliance and record keeping.
  • Offer project management support to the global team and assist in content creation and governance.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as training or human resources.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in administration, organization, and delivery of face-to-face and virtual personal skills workshops or programs in a business environment.
  • Preferably experienced in delivering learning in communication, time management, emotional intelligence, customer service, and team effectiveness.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems is required.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong administrative and planning skills.
  • Certifications in training tools such as DiSC, Emotional Intelligence, or a willingness to obtain.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using computer software, ideally with experience in Microsoft Office, SAP SuccessFactors, Canva, Powerpoint, or other design tools.
