**Position Overview**:
Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychosocial recovery coach to join our team. As a Psychosocial Recovery Coach, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with psychosocial disabilities to build capacity, develop resilience, and achieve greater independence. You will work collaboratively with participants, their families, and support networks by connecting them with a range of services that align with their individual needs across one or more providers. Your expertise and empathy will empower participants to navigate their recovery journey with confidence.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement individualized recovery plans in collaboration with participants and their support networks.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to participants, helping them to set and achieve personal recovery goals.
- Support participants in implementing their NDIS plans, with a focus on fostering independence and recovery.
- Assist participants in building skills and strategies to manage their mental health and well-being.
- Coordinate and liaise with various stakeholders, including healthcare providers, support services, and family members.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of participants, adjusting plans and supports as needed.
- Advocate for participants' rights and needs within the NDIS framework.
- Assist participants in understanding and making the most of their NDIS plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and reports on participant progress.
- Stay informed about best practices in psychosocial recovery and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build and maintain knowledge of local services and organisations that customers can utilise.
- Assist in determining the budget for each support type and communicate with relevant plan managers regarding fund allocation.
- Liaise with plan managers to establish appropriate claim categories and ensure accurate fund distribution.
- Assess and manage risk in line with organisational policies and procedures.

**Key Requirements**:

- A minimum of a Diploma in community services, mental health, social work, psychology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant position
- Experience as a Psychosocial Recovery Coach, with a strong understanding of recovery-oriented practice.
- Strong understanding of the principles of recovery-oriented practice and person-centred support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with participants and their families.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (if required).
- A willingness to start with a few hours per week, with the potential for more as we grow together.
