We are keen to engage a highly experienced Solution Architect with strong Insurance industry background and deep understanding of legacy Policy Administration Systems (PAS) with preference for Life400. As a Pre-Sales Solution Architect, you will shape and validate solutions, guide customers through discovery to decision, and ensure proposals are technically feasible, commercially sound, and aligned to our delivery strengths. This position can be Melbourne or Sydney based and will require some domestic travel for key customer meetings and events.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Lead technical discovery with insurers to understand product portfolios, legacy constraints, and target business outcomes; translate into solution blueprints and presales artifacts.
- Qualify opportunities with Sales/Industry leads and contribute to Deal / Solutions Engineering forums for complex or strategic pursuits.
- Design portfolio migration approaches from Life 400, and other mainframe/legacy PAS to iPAS or modern target states.
- Articulate risk, timeline, cost and change implications for target solutions and migrations.
- Create and deliver winning demos of iPAS, tailored walkthroughs, and PoCs of iPAS and other DB products to de-risk decisions and build stakeholder confidence.
- Own the technical sections of RFx responses, SoWs, estimates, scope and assumptions.
- Manage architecture risks/RAID for presales initiatives, codify reusable patterns, reference architectures, and accelerators.
- Collaborate across Industry Leads, Sales Leads, Pursuit Teams, and Delivery to maintain a clean handover from sell to delivery.
To be successful you will have:
- PAS domain expertise across Insurance, Superannuation or Investment.
- Familiarity with multi-PAS consolidation drivers and regulatory context.
- Legacy PAS & mainframe proficiency: hands-on experience interfacing with or migrating from Life/400 and similar platforms.
