**Description**:
Join a dedicated, friendly team who really care about the work that we do for the people we house. This role is based in our Head Office in Rivervale, Perth. You will work very closely with a dynamic team of Tenancy Assistants and Tenancy Officers. We pride ourselves in our collaborative work which focuses on the provision of person-centered tenancy management.
As a Tenancy Officer, you will be an integral part of the team. Duties revolve around the management of a portfolio of Housing Choices WA tenancies, offering high quality customer service and ensuring compliance, and protection of the property asset, whilst operating within a supportive landlord model.
Full training will be provided, however previous experience in Real Estate is highly regarded. This is the opportunity to move from private into the not-for-profit sector.
**Skills and Experiences**:
**About You**:
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of property management practices and principles, including the Residential Tenancies Act, inspection processes and property maintenance requirements.
- Strengths in customer service, in particular strong communication and negotiation skills and proven ability to find solutions to complex problems and work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Well-developed organisational skills to manage workload and competing priorities.
- Previous experience working in a team environment and willingness to provide assistance and support to other team members and contribute to a positive team environment.
- A current Western Australian driver's licence.
