Position Details
As we continue our transformation and growth journey, we are now looking to appoint **3 new Leading Hands** for our Hemmant facilities in Brisbane.

**Leading Hand x 2 at Hemmant 3**:

- Reporting to the shift Operations Supervisor, the roster for both these roles will be Monday to Friday, 1:00PM to 9:30PM (full-time).

**Leading Hand at Hemmant 1** - Reporting to the shift Operations Supervisor, the roster for this role will be Monday to Friday, 5.00AM to 1.30PM (full-time).

**Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Supporting a team of warehouse operators/pickers to meet KPI targets.
- Instructing route drivers on delivery sequence as per customer requirements.
- Operating all appropriate materials handling equipment under licence.
- Use of computer (internal inventory management system and customer systems etc.) for maintenance of data input & retrieval relating to stock for route business.
- Planning for staff and labour hire requirements for shifts as required.
- Reviewing consignment of goods for receipt and dispatch.

**Skills and experience/qualifications will ideally include**:

- Experience in a similar role and environment, supporting a team of warehouse operators/pickers.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-moving retail environment.
- The ability to work in a cold/freezer environment.
- A valid and current high-risk licence.
- Being highly skilled on a double pallet mover.
- Experience with conducting toolbox talks.
- Basic PC skills.
- Previous Transport and COR experience.
