The Department
Alfred Hospital's Radiology Department is one of Melbourne's leading tertiary teaching and trauma hospitals. The department values education and professional development, utilizing modern technologies across all modalities to image challenging patients.
The Role
We are seeking a Sonographer to provide high-quality sonographic examinations, ensuring patient comfort, welfare, and safety in accordance with established practices, ethics, and codes of conduct. Staff will be rotated through inpatients, outpatients, and emergency settings to provide a broad range of experience.
Qualifications and Experience Required
Bachelor of Applied Science in Sonography or equivalent
Registration with ASAR to practice as a Sonographer
Evidence of CPD in line with registration requirements
Good communication skills
Team-oriented attitude
