Work Type: Contract/Temp Circa $215,000 + Super 12-15 month contract Critical divisional finance business partnering role About the Company:A leading organisation in Engineering Services is seeking a Finance Director to play a critical role at the intersection of finance and operations.
This is an opportunity to join a business experiencing significant growth through numerous bolt-on acquisitions, with a key mandate to integrate newly acquired companies and help build out a new division over the next 12–15 months.About the Role:As Divisional Head of Finance, you'll be the key financial advisor to operational leaders—turning data into actionable insights and enabling smarter decisions.
You will: Partner with senior operations leaders to influence strategy and optimise performance.
Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Provide commercial support on bids, tenders, and major contracts.
Oversee project profitability, cost management, and cash flow, maintaining strong financial controls and compliance.
Drive integration of multiple acquisitions, aligning financial processes and supporting the establishment of a newly formed division.
Champion continuous improvement, implementing new systems, tools, and processes.
What We're Looking For: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; CPA/CA qualification essential.
10+ years in finance business partnering, FP&A, or management accounting, ideally within construction, engineering, facilities management, or technical services.
Proven track record in post-acquisition integration and change management.
Strong financial modelling, analytical, and reporting skills, plus excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
