Divisional Support Coordinator

The Australian Museum seeks a highly skilled and organized professional to fill the role of Divisional Support Coordinator in its Corporate Services Division.


About the Role

This key position provides administrative support to the Director, Corporate Services, and coordinates the work of the Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking research, analysis, and reporting for the Division, anticipating the needs of the Divisional Director, and proactively working with unit heads and managers across the Division.

  • Develop and implement effective administrative systems and processes to ensure seamless operations within the Division.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports to facilitate informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

The Divisional Support Coordinator will have the following responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Director, Corporate Services.
  • Coordinate the work of the Corporate Services Division.
  • Undertake research, analysis, and reporting as required.
  • Anticipate and meet the needs of the Divisional Director and other stakeholders.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 apps and services, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.
  • Experience with Tessitura, HPE Content Manager, Monday.com, SharePoint, and myWorkZone is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Availability to attend after-hours events as required.
  • Experience in developing and delivering projects for a range of stakeholder groups.
