Embark on an exciting journey with Kmart Australia as a Product Owner - Planning and Merchandise within the Planning & Inventory Function, working on the development of a unified system for two renowned brands, Kmart and Target Join our dynamic team and be part of a collaborative environment where innovation and technology converge to shape the future of retail.

**What you'll be doing**

As a** Product Owner - Planning and Merchandise** you will:

- Work closely with our technology team to align development efforts with our future business vision.
- Drive the development of a unified system for two distinct brands.
- Ensure alignment between business goals and technology solutions, serving as a bridge between business stakeholders and the technology team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, creating alignment and driving decision-making across diverse groups.
- Utilize analytical skills to capture and leverage data and insights, driving informed decision-making.
- Stay abreast of ecommerce trends and technologies, bringing valuable knowledge and insights to enhance our technological landscape.

**To be successful in this role you'll have**:

- Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner or Manager, well-versed in product life cycle, MVP, and iterative development.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, with Agile certification considered a plus.
- Exceptional planning, communication, presentation, negotiating, and influencing skills.
- Highly analytical with the ability to capture and utilize data and insights for decision-making.
- Strong critical reasoning skills and the ability to challenge the status quo.
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills, creating alignment and driving decision-making.
- Good business judgment, willing to make difficult decisions and constructively challenge existing practices.
- Ability to create a constructive feedback environment that adds value.
- Knowledge and interest in ecommerce trends and technologies.
