- Full-time, Continuing position- Salary Level HEW 5 + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements- Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, but may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University
About The Position
The Prospective Student Officer is often the first point of contact for prospective students and plays a critical role in representing RMIT in an appropriate manner and encouraging prospective students to take advantage of what RMIT has to offer.
The role will predominantly focus on supporting domestic students looking to study at RMIT University, however support to additional audiences may also be required at times.
To be successful in this position, you'll have:- Experience in an acquisition/recruitment, and/or customer service and call centre environment is highly regarded.- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and engage confidently with clients and individuals from diverse backgrounds at all levels.- Demonstrate ability to manage difficult client expectations with successful outcome.- Experience with CRM for capturing lead and case data based on conversation with prospective students.- Ability to use multiple systems simultaneously and work well under pressure whilst meeting KPI's.- Demonstrate high level IT skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office software, with strong emphasis on Excel.
