**What will you do?**:
We have a great opportunity for an **Inventory & Planning Manager to join our team in Supply Chain. The primary purpose of this role is to manage the improvements to inventory integrity within the RDC through planning, forecasting, monitoring, auditing and reporting for onsite activities, as well as supporting the inventory management and control systems to enhance customer service performance and drive cost savings, in line with Target's values.**
Other key responsibilities also include:
- Maximising site Warehouse Management Systems to maintain a high standard of procedural accuracy and reporting
- Maintain system parameters, inventory accuracy and system performance including the identification and resolution of inventory discrepancies
- Enable better resource allocation in RDC by providing accurate inbound and outbound volume forecasts for the site, managing event and seasonal throughput and effective controls to support service KPIs and metrics
- Coaching and development of team
**What are we looking for?**:
This is the perfect role for a driven individual, who excels in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Someone who suggests creative ideas and innovative solutions by exploring multiple alternatives and approaches to overcome obstacles and find solutions.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Supply Chain or Inventory Management role
- Experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) accessing data and health checks
- Experience in S&OP development and inventory optimization experience including best practice
- Knowledge of demand and supply planning
- Experience in working with 3PL partners
- Strong commercial acumen and focus
- Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience in leading and managing a team
