**About the Role**
Seeking an experienced
**Purchasing Officer** for our Head Office located in Ingleburn. Reporting to the National Purchasing Manager, you will work closely with our branch network in sourcing and ordering products and services, maintaining supplier relationships and performing general purchasing functions.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities Include**:

- Liaise with local supply partners, including price negotiation
- Sourcing and ordering products and services
- Create, maintain and update purchase orders
- Facilitate training on order processing and new supplier onboarding
- Assist with shipping and importing functions
- Create and maintain new inventory items on Pronto system

**Key Skills and Experience**:

- 5+ years' experience as a Purchasing Officer within the mechanical/manufacturing environment
- Mid to large tier ERP experience (within the supply chain, purchasing, inventory & accounts payable areas)
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, policies and systems
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent organisational skills
- Intermediate Excel, Word and Outlook skills
