We are looking for a Purchasing Officer reporting to Business Services Manager with a capacity to prioritise and manage competing demands, work to deadlines, and maintain attention to detail. **Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate purchases and manage the purchase order system
- Liaise with internal clients to meet their purchasing requirements
- Source non routine items
- Administration of purchasing category contracts
- Analysis of purchasing patterns and expenditure

**Key skills and competencies required**
- Good organisational and administration skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships
- Previous experience in purchasing and procurement
- Knowledge of Australia Standards in relation to goods and services
- Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
- Current Police Check (or Willingness to obtain)
- Current Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination including booster
