Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia's future.

Downer Professional Services is comprised of two business units, our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer, a major service partner to Defence. Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security.

We currently have an opportunity for an IWP Delivery Manager to join the Team Downer Team Management Office (TMO), supporting the Land Integrated Work Package based in Melbourne.

**What You'll Do**

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of IWP contracts, ensuring compliance with schedules, deliverables, and Commonwealth regulations.
- Coordinate resource planning, onboarding/offboarding, and supplier engagement in collaboration with the Team Management Office (TMO).
- Act as primary client contact, managing short-notice requests, new tasking, extensions, and stakeholder communications.
- Monitor performance metrics and KPIs, support invoicing, travel approvals, and ensure accurate time sheeting.Drive continuous improvement and ensure alignment with contractual and industry standards.

**What You'll Bring**
- Minimum 3 years' experience in client-facing roles focused on contract delivery for Defence.
- Understanding of program management principles, with the ability to develop and implement strategic delivery plans.
- Proven stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with a track record of building positive client relationships.- Proficiency in resource management including workforce planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring.

Due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain a minimum **Negative Vetting 1**or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. In some instances, compliance with **International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)**requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
