**Who are we looking for?**

We are seeking a Ceremonies Coordinator to join, Administrative Division.

The Ceremonies Coordinator supports the Senior Ceremonies Manager in leading and coordinating graduation ceremonies for QUT graduates. This role supervises a small team ensuring all ceremony preparation, system configuration and on-the-day activities for QUT ceremonies are completed to a high standard and deliver an amazing student experience.

**About the area**

Student Services & Wellbeing sits within the Administrative Division and is responsible for leading the university-wide strategy and coordination of all non-academic matters related to the student experience. The portfolio delivers a range of services across the student life cycle, as well as providing advice and leadership to the university on a broad range of student and staff matters, including social justice and public policy..

**What you need to succeed**

1. Education, training and/or experience equivalent to completion of a postgraduate qualification or progress towards postgraduate qualification and/or extensive relevant work experience in event management/ graduations or similar large scale events.
2. Excellent written and interpersonal skills for communicating effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including demonstrated experience in drafting procedural documentation and the development of statistical reports.
3. Demonstrated high level attention to detail and comprehensive organisational skills including the ability to prioritise work to meet demanding and conflicting deadlines with a minimum of supervision.
4. Proven ability to adapt and embrace change, ensuring seamless event execution.
5. Excellent digital literacy and office information technology capabilities including database management and interface issues between multiple systems.
6. Demonstrated experience in leading a team including responsibility for effective service delivery, workload management and career planning, development, and performance expectations.
