As part of our Transformation to becoming a more data and evidence led Technology and Operations division, we are embarking on an ambitious programme of work to improve our Observability and Efficiency as an Organisation. The Group Operations Performance team is a new function with the remit to make this all happen, and to influence the strategy and direction Sky will take moving forward. To support the large volume of exciting opportunity, we are looking for a skilled Technical Data Analyst to be part of the core of this new team, and help us support, develop, and shape this journey.

What you'll do:

- Supports the SGOPM and wider Content Experience & Operations Performance function across the Sky Group (UK, Italy, & Germany)
- Responsible for sourcing, obtaining, and analysing large datasets to present meaning and convey pivotal information
- Be essential in the development of our key KPI tracking metrics and assist in the delivery and maintenance of data portals
- You will become a key point of contact within the team for providing analysis on our data.
- Design and Creation of Performance Dashboards in Tableau
- Capturing and Documenting Technical Requirements to drive Automation programmes and deliver data in a robust and timely manner
- Lead workshops and conduct In Depth Process Mapping, construct Value Stream charts
- Assist the SGOPM instituting LeanOps/SAFe principles and methodologies across Europe

What you'll bring:

- An expert in Excel/BI/related data analysis toolsets/Tableau
- Strong SQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills bringing a creative approach to solution finding
- Experience working in or alongside Large/Enterprise Scale Technology departments
- Savvy about data, with strong business acumen to understand how different types of data drive value into Sky's business and across CXD
- A deep understanding and experience with supply chains and data, how they work, why they are required, and general processing activities
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to work across multiple work streams and projects at any given time
