Overview
Eden Ritchie Recruitment is seeking an experienced and collaborative project manager to lead a change management focused project for a key Queensland Government department. A SAP Transition Project Team is being established to collaborate with another central agency in the SAP transition from ECC6 to S/4 HANA.
11 month position
Brisbane CBD based
Responsibilities and selection criteria
Leading the project and delivering high level communication and documentation to the Project Director and other key stakeholders ensuring they are briefed on projects objectives, milestones and progress through to client acceptance, whilst always maintaining a customer/stakeholder focus.
Project manage a team to deliver successful outcomes including change and communication activities in a professional and timely manner in accordance with relevant project management methodologies, principles and practices.
Manage and achieve results in all aspects of the development and implementation and provide authoritative advice and negotiate confidently with senior management and stakeholders on all matters relating to the successful delivery of a relatively complex project.
Develop, prepare and deliver project documentation, progress and finalisation reports to the Project Director, as required in accordance with Queensland Government project management methodologies (based on PRINCE2).
Manage risks and issues that may impact on the successful implementation of the project, including timely escalation within a well-managed governance framework.
Work with DoJ business area stakeholders to ensure process and policy changes progressed in parallel to the project are communicated and accepted by end-users as appropriate.
Monitor, promote, and document the realisation of benefits of the initiative.
Build and sustain relationships with a network of key people internally and externally. Anticipate and respond to internal and external client needs.
Promote and support a workplace culture of equity, diversity, respect and inclusion, and proactively manage the work performance and personal conduct of your team.
Ensure the ongoing rigor of the departmental financial control environment, and
Establish and maintain an appropriate and effective engagement with QSS in understanding and assessing the impact of the S/4 HANA system changes, which will drive the engagement and consultation with business areas.
