**Assistant Director of Clinical Services**

**Permanent part-time opportunity - 3 days a week**

**The Opportunity**

A fantastic Senior Management position has become available to join the Clinical Services team. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services/CEO, this role will be required to provide clinical leadership and workforce management, along with operational support to the clinical and non-clinical teams to direct excellent patient outcomes.

This will involve, but is not limited to:

- Supporting growth, business development and responding to the business needs identified by the Executive team and Ramsay Health Care
- Always striving for clinical excellence across the organisation
- Overseeing care delivery and coordinating the activities of a multi-disciplinary team ensuring optimal patient outcomes are achieved, with the available resources while complying with requirements
- Planning and maintaining hospital and departmental budgets ensuring budgetary requirements are met in consultation with other executive team members
- Measuring workplace culture and implementing actions that support the findings to ensure a positive workplace culture is maintained
- Managing Human Resources to ensure future workforce requirements are known and strategies are identified and implemented

**Your Skills and Experience**
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working at a management level or similar
- Proven ability to successfully lead and motivate a team providing strong strategic direction and positive leadership
- Undertake reporting and policy development and review
- Experience in quality and risk management frameworks and clinical governance principles
- Ability to manage complex, challenging and demanding daily operational issues
- Be flexible, adapt to change quickly and the ability to work in a fast-paced multidisciplinary team environment

Nowra Hospital has been providing quality health care services to the Shoalhaven region and south coast of New South Wales since being commissioned in 1980. Our 62-bed facility provides acute surgical and medical services, rehabilitation, and day surgery services. We are located 130km south of Sydney and 10km from the beaches for which the south coast is renowned.
