About Our Team

Poulton Respondek Clinical Psychology is a highly regarded and well-established private practice in the heart of the beautiful Shoalhaven town of Nowra. Our mission is to provide evidence-based psychotherapies and treatments for mental health issues and to enhance the life-satisfaction, well-being and personal growth of our clients. The psychologists in our team are highly qualified and have a wealth of experience. We are renowned for our collaborative, warm and supportive team environment.

Our clinic provides psychological services for children, adolescents and adults who are experiencing a wide range of psychological or relationship difficulties. We have strong, long-term working relationships with our referrers, resulting in a large and diverse referral base, and we maintain an excellent reputation in the community.

What we're looking for:

  • Postgraduate qualifications in psychology

Full Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia

Eligibility to provide Medicare psychological services

  • Professional Indemnity Insurance

  • Current Working with Children Check and current Police Check

  • Current Australian Business Number or eligibility to apply

Previous clinical/consulting experience working in a hospital, specialised service, consultancy and/or private practice

Ability to work with short, medium and longer-term client presentations, and a variety of presenting difficulties

  • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with referrers, organisations, and the community

  • Strong written, verbal, and report writing skills
