**About the role**
As a result of an internal promotion, we are seeking a highly organised and driven Technical Product Specialist to be based at our Oakleigh, Melbourne Facility. The role, as part of the Product Management Team will be responsible for supporting new and continuous product improvement development project deliveries. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Collaborating with Product Development around design, concept generation, verification, implementation as well as coordinating the necessary go to market activities
- Overseeing in-life management projects working in consultation with the relevant Product Manager to ensure market needs are represented on all portfolio relevant VA/VE, supply chain savings, marketing, pricing and quality improvement projects
- Developing, maintaining and delivering product training content and associated supporting resources to maximise product potential across the organisation
- Supporting our Marketing Team with responsibility of the technical marketing collateral is also key
Working in close collaboration with Product Management, you will be supporting our customer facing teams by taking responsibility for the continuous maintenance of product information. The role is pivotal when supporting in market quality issues, taking a lead role in finding root cause and solutions and communication of the recovery plan across the business. This role is also responsible for second line support to our customer service and sales teams.
**About You**
You will have experience working within a fast-paced product development and/or product management environment. You will have the ability to balance multiple priorities to deliver excellent results.
Communication will need to be one of your strengths as you will be a key role in communicating across the business. Adaptability in managing a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external, with the ability to maintain clear lines of communication is essential.
You will thrive in a team environment, enjoy finding solutions to problems and be able to operate at pace, taking a hands-on approach to obtaining the right information to make well-informed decisions and deliver value.
Prior experience within the locking and security hardware industry and/or a relevant technical qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
