The Health Care Worker role will contribute to providing and delivering quality Person Centered Care under the directions of the Unit Nurse Manager and Registered Nurse and assist the organisation to meet its strategic and operational objectives in relation to residential aged care.Employee Benefits include:Full Salary packaging benefits availableEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Flexible working arrangementsStaff wellbeing program, including Fitness Passport ProgramCandidates should be able to demonstrate the following attributes:Completed an approved TAFE course for Health Care Workers at a Certificate 3 or HigherCurrent First Aid CertificateFood Safety CertificateEnsure that people accessing Beechworth Health Service will experience a person-centred approach with respect to their needs.Initial and ongoing assessment of the client/resident in collaboration with other personal care workers and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to ensure that an individualised plan of care is developed for the client/resident.Liaise with managers and assist in problem solving to deal with issues as they arise.Beechworth Health Service (BHS) is committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce and follows Equal Employment Opportunity Principles.
