About The Role
Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of residents? Calvary Aged Care invites compassionate individuals to join our dedicated team as Personal Care Workers. This is an opportunity to be part of a caring community committed to providing exceptional care to our residents.
Your main duties will include:
Support residents to live the life they choose, allowing them to exercise choice and independence
Assist the resident in one-on-one activities that support their well-being, including hobbies and interests aligned to the care plan
Contributes to the physical, emotional and lifestyle needs and wants of the residents, through assessment and observation
Works within an established and agreed framework to deliver a range of personal care tasks, including daily hygiene (e.g., showering, shaving, dressing, mouth and eye care) and continence management
Assist residents who require mobility support as per care plan
About You
Certificate Level III (Individual Support)
Effective interpersonal communication, both written and verbal
Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads
Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control
Demonstrated experience in a similar role in aged care, health care or hospitality
