About The Role

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of residents? Calvary Aged Care invites compassionate individuals to join our dedicated team as Personal Care Workers. This is an opportunity to be part of a caring community committed to providing exceptional care to our residents.

Your main duties will include:
  • Support residents to live the life they choose, allowing them to exercise choice and independence
  • Assist the resident in one-on-one activities that support their well-being, including hobbies and interests aligned to the care plan
  • Contributes to the physical, emotional and lifestyle needs and wants of the residents, through assessment and observation
  • Works within an established and agreed framework to deliver a range of personal care tasks, including daily hygiene (e.g., showering, shaving, dressing, mouth and eye care) and continence management
  • Assist residents who require mobility support as per care plan
About You
  • Certificate Level III (Individual Support)
  • Effective interpersonal communication, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads
  • Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role in aged care, health care or hospitality
