**About the Role**

The Y WA is seeking a **Strategic Growth Development Lead** to take the lead on our aspirational growth and development strategy. This role will work in partnership with key internal and external stakeholders to identify, develop and implement strategic growth opportunities across all areas of the Y WA's business. Reporting to the CFO you will be instrumental in supporting the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to deliver long-term strategic goals that enable to Y to have an even deeper impact on the children, youth and communities we work with.

**Duties**
- Identifying new business growth opportunities that align to the Y's strategic direction and managing these opportunities from inception to closing.
- Lead the design, project management and construction of new Early Learning Centres from concept to opening, with budget delivery, strong engagement with stakeholders and on time projects.
- Identify appropriate and strategically aligned geographical areas for new Y Vocational CARE schools.
- Identifying new income streams connected to the Y WA's mission and purpose.

**Skills and Experience**
- Degree level qualification in commercial property development/project management or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience at a senior manager level
- Demonstrated business and property development skills and experience
- Demonstrated project management capability
- Experience of project managing mergers and acquisition from inception to acquisition
- Experience working with stakeholders at all levels up to board
- Experience of negotiating commercial terms and agreements
- Sound knowledge of the WA property market
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including developing compelling business cases for board approval
- Strong negotiation skills
- National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
- Current unrestricted WA 'C' class drivers licence
