**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:
The Human Resources team is responsible for the delivery of end to end support to Council's employees and leaders across human resources, employee and industrial relations, and organisation development.

We have an exciting opportunity within our Human Resources Team for a passionate administration professional to join the team and provide administrative assistance to the Human Resources, Organisation Development team and Council.

Reporting to the Coordinator Human Resources, the role will work closely in partnership with the HR team and stakeholders to coordinate work experience and placement programs, assist in the maintenance of Council's organisation structure, coordinate Council's probation process, and to facilitate and assist in various other HR related tasks.

The successful applicant will require:

- Relevant qualifications in an administrative or human resources field and/or experience working in a related field
- Computer literacy, particularly in the MS Office suite of products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work productively as a member of a team and contribute to team goals
- Good time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.

**Position information**: This is a term contract, full-time position, working a 35 hour week, with access to Council's 9 day fortnight Accrued Day Off (ADO) arrangement.

This role is predominantly located at Council's Merrylands office, with occasional travel required across Council worksites, and may be required to work across any of Council's work locations.

**Salary information**: The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award.
- Grade 9 of the Cumberland Salary Structure with a salary range of $1,350.06 to $1,552.57 per week, plus 10.5% superannuation
- The commencing salary will be negotiated, taking into consideration the successful applicant's qualifications, skills and experience related to the role.
