We are partnered with a well-known mining company for the recruitment of a Shutdown Scheduler

This is an initial 4-month contract position and is an opportunity to continue your career with a respected player in the mining industry.

This role would operate Monday - Friday based in Perth, paid 8 hours per day and at a competitive hourly rate.

About You

We have a strong focus on finding individuals with the right values, leadership capability, collaboration, and communication skills. In addition to demonstrated ability to consolidate and analyse information, you will have commitment to continuous improvement as well as the skills and knowledge to provide critical thinking and a solution-focused attitude.

Desirable skills include:

- Prior exposure to Refinery or Mining Shutdown Scheduling
- Proficiency with Mining software packages (such as Schedman, MTM, Modular or similar)
- Capability with Root Cause Analysis to implement off-spec product investigations
- At least 2-3 Years Experience
- Competent computer skills with Microsoft office (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.
