**The Role**
ALS Water operates a modern laboratory in Scoresby equipped with the latest in analytical technology. Samples for analysis are sourced from throughout Victoria.

Reporting to the National HSEQ Manager - Water/Hydrographics, this position is responsible for auditing sampling processes across Victoria to ensure compliance with safety, environmental and sampling standards, as well as field operating procedures.

**The Day to Day**
- Developing Audit plans with the Sampling team
- Undertaking audits in the field of sampling techniques and preparing audit reports;
- Participating in client and other third party audits
- Supporting the delivery of training and managing documentation;
- Identifying hazards, risks and environmental impacts in the field;
- Working with HSEQ team to review and improve field procedures and risk assessments

**The Essentials**
- Diploma/Degree in an appropriate discipline and/or significant experience in a related role
- Experience working in the field conducting basic field analysis
- Experience in auditing, preferably with some formal training
- Good knowledge and understanding of HSEQ management systems
- Effective communication, planning and organisational skills
- Demonstrated sound judgement, investigative and problem-solving skills
- Drivers licence and a willingness to travel
