Store Auditor (Internal Audit) | Permanent Role | Kew
We are on the search for a self-motivated experienced Store Auditor to plan and perform retail store audits assessing quality of internal controls over store operations and compliance with approved policies and procedures. This is a hands-on role where you will be working closely with a variety of stakeholders across all our brands. This role reports to the VP, Global Audit in the USA.
As a risk and controls advisor to our store management teams, you will be responsible for:

- Driving improvement in retail governance and controls across the growing retail store network.
- Providing recommendations of stores to audit through quarterly risk assessment and share knowledge of new polices and procedures with your Retail stakeholders.
- Draft audit reports detailing the audit findings and recommendations. Formulate recommendations to management to correct deficiencies and improve controls. Work as a business partner with the management team without impeding independence.
- Perform timely follow up on outstanding issues to ensure agreed actions have been effectively implemented and reflected in audit report
- Work with Retail Operations as a business partner to drive process improvement and share best practices to help management achieve good store governance.
- Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with leaders throughout the organization to assist creating transparency and ensuring cooperation with various audits and process improvement projects.
- Special Projects may be assigned by VP, Internal Audit from time to time based on business needs.
- Most importantly, the individual must meet the deadlines and be able to work independently & collaboratively.

What experience do I have?
- A deep understanding of retail processes, systems and controls
- Experience in Retail Directions, Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook required
- Experience in Power Bi (preferred)
- Strong communication and written skills; able to forge lasting relationships with internal stakeholders
- Well-developed problem solving/analytical capabilities, with sound PC skills - Advanced Excel skills
- High attention to detail; collaborative; adaptable; results-orientated
- Desire to travel domestically and internationally
