PARKROYAL Darling Harbour has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic **Cluster Purchasing Manager** to join our team.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role is a great opportunity to work with a strong team to develop your career in a supportive, fun and customer focused environment.

**The Role**
- Manage Purchasing function for the hotel.
- Manage day to day purchase order process and goods receiving function.
- Supervise the receiving dock and delivery of goods.
- Ensure proper authorization is obtained for all hotel specific purchasing contracts.
- Coordinate and work with department heads on capital projects.
- Compare quotations received from all respondents and recommend a supplier that is best suited for the hotel.
- Establish, implement and adhere to purchasing policies, procedures and best practices
- Identify and develop reliable product and service supply source for the hotel.

**Ideally you will have**:

- Prior experience in purchasing and procurement in a hotel is essential
- Working knowledge of SAP MM will be an advantage
- Good negotiations and analytical skills
- Planning and organisational skills
- Resourceful and result driven
- Excellent communication skills and a good team player
- Desirable qualification in material management
