Lifeline Australia is a national suicide prevention charity providing all Australians experiencing emotional distress with access to 24-hour crisis support and suicide prevention services. This is achieved through a partnership of over 10,000 committed volunteers and their member centres in communities across the nation.

**ROLE**

**As National Manager Individual Giving, you will use your proven fundraising experience to lead Lifeline's fast-growing Individual Giving Fundraising programs including regular givers, cash, mid value, tributes and gifts in wills to ensure KPI's achieved, and income targets exceeded.**

**Reporting to the Executive Director and working closely with internal and external stakeholders, this is an incredible opportunity to further develop and drive their individual giving fundraising strategy, take ownership of the portfolio and make a real impact on the organisation. Building on previous success, you will get to play a vital role in designing, delivering and scaling Lifelines supporter experience from acquisition, retention, growth and loyalty across a range of channels whilst maintaining a culture of fundraising excellence and innovation.**

**The role manages 2 direct reports, is fast paced and varied and will suit an experienced strategic Individual Giving Manager with demonstrated expertise in growing individual giving programs for large organisations, meet targets and execute superior stakeholder and budget management skills.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Develop strategy, providing leadership across key individual giving portfolio including supporter retention and acquisition, direct marketing, mid-value, tributes and bequests, optimising supporter experience and drive sustainable revenue streams**:

- **Develop and deliver innovative fundraising products and strategies particularly across digital channels for regular giving, cash and mid value programs**:

- **Lead, design and implement unique individual supporter experience**:

- **Oversee agency relationships to ensure targets are met**:

- **Model effective cross-organisation collaboration, supporting wider fundraising initiatives**:

- **Lead development of effective data driven acquisition plans and the donor journey**:

- **Build effective systems and processes, leading best practice approach to acquisition, retention and supporter care.**:

- **Prepare and manage budget for related activities including negotiations with contractors, consultants, suppliers and service providers.**:

- **Manage key operational deliverables including data analytics to inform, create and adjust strategy and planning.**

**YOUR SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES**
- **Significant experience in fundraising leading an Individual Giving program and managing multi-channel direct response marketing**:

- **Significant strategic fundraising experience delivering gifts in wills, mid-value and high value supporter fundraising products and campaigns**:

- **Solid understanding of supporter behavioural and motivational data and effective use of digital and data technologies**:

- **Excellent analytical skills coupled with experience of managing complex budget management across multiple channels to achieve financial targets**:

- **Strong presentation skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills**:

- **Approachable, assertive and earnest with ability to inspire confidence and operate with humility.**
