Our client is looking for a **Portfolio Analyst** to take part on a new exciting project.

**Location**: Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne

**Contract Length**: 12 months + extension

**Security Clearance**:Australian Citizen

**Key responsibilities**:

- Performance:_
- Adapt reporting and analytics tools, processes and procedures to accommodate a variety of project and program sizes, types, and delivery models and for different levels of reporting.
- Identify opportunities to consolidate reporting and remove duplication and identify and implement new opportunities for improvement with respect to reporting in particular.
- Provide innovative and best practice knowledge to all outputs in order to assist in embedding of reporting processes and procedures.
- Provide critical analysis of the program and project reporting to assist in optimal portfolio performance
- Systems and Capabilities:_
- Assist in the development and ongoing management of the EPMO knowledge library - currently SharePoint.
- Assist in the business administration and support for PPM Tool (Clarity) and associated processes.
- Identify where project artefacts can be enhanced and contribute to the development and constant improvement as required.
- Prioritisation and Planning:_
- Assist Project Managers (PMs) to build appropriate metrics that can be used to measure project performance and progress towards the realisation of benefits.
- Assist PMs to develop and maintain their schedules so that resource planning can be sustainable and effective.
- Liaise with Agency stakeholders in the planning and development of the Agency's workplan including Finance.
- Assist with the prioritisation process that informs the Agency decision makers regarding new initiatives.
- Working knowledge of the Agency's portfolio.
- Stakeholder Management_
- Manage relationships with stakeholders to achieve work area and Agency goals.
- Represent the Agency by promoting its interests at community and cross-agency levels.
- Support stakeholders through change.
- Support the relationships and interfaces between the EPMO and portfolio delivery functions.
- Strong communication skills that demonstrate a customer focus.
