Job Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Client Management team as a Credit Risk Analyst. This permanent opportunity is based in ACT/NSW, allowing you to work closely with internal stakeholders to manage customer portfolios.

The role involves undertaking financial and credit risk analysis for credit submissions, including customer annual reviews and other requests. You will be responsible for managing ongoing monitoring of risk profile and requirements of assigned client groups, ensuring portfolio hygiene and system data accuracy.

You will also review valuation reports and support monthly progress claims for construction transactions. Collaboration with client coverage, product specialists, credit, and client support teams is essential for seamless client experiences.

Maintaining awareness of credit policy, credit, and market risk, as well as internal risk appetite, is crucial for this role. You will drive quality, consistency, and continuous improvement practices, focusing on improving credit submissions, turnaround times, and business risks management.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or Finance or related discipline.
  • Passion for Corporate Property, Construction, and Hotels sector.
  • Extensive professional experience in the financial industry.
  • Excel modelling skills.
  • Broad product knowledge and industry insight.
  • Understanding of APRA Prudential standards, particularly APS112/113.
  • Previous experience managing internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand Risk policies and economic and market factors.
