Let's talk about your new role_**
You will be joining us at an exciting growth time. Reporting to the Head of Sales, as our new Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be a core member of the APAC sales team and responsible for qualifying incoming leads, contacting new leads through outbound prospect activities, and gaining their interest to be able to set up meetings and demonstrations for the Sales team.

What you will be doing _**
Here are some of your key responsibilities:
- External customer activities:_
- Contact prospective customers based on their interest in content generated by Protecht (eBooks, webinars, videos) as well as make Outbound (cold) calls daily
- Generate qualified interest in use of Protecht.ERM then set meetings for demonstrations and/or sales calls for the business development managers
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of our product and its value to customers
- Internal:_
- Under the APAC Business Development Plan devise activities and timeframes to meet key action points
- Manage business development target and hit or exceed monthly quota for services areas including number of calls made, number of meetings set
- Maintain the CRM system for:
- All client interactions
- Reporting to support weekly APAC Sales Cadence call
- Weekly sales forecasting
- Maintain close working relationships with internal teams including Customer Service, Legal, IT & Security, Advisory & Analytics, and the Marketing & Product Development teams
- Ensure sales policies and procedures are always maintained and adhered to
- Engaging in team development and mentoring
- Build new methods for attracting clients
- Take initiative to help marketing convert their efforts into leads for the business development team

Skills you need for success _**

- 2+ years' experience in sales role with strong phone and communication skills
- Strong willingness to learn
- Competitive spirit, self-motivation, and a desire to be successful
- Experience carrying and exceeding KPI's and targets
- The ability to build relationships with potential customers

- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
- Preferred qualifications or training in risk and compliance principles
- Knowledge and experience in risk and compliance management
- Knowledge and experience in SaaS (Software as a Service) platforms
