We are seeking an experienced full time Medical Secretary/ Practice Manager who is interested to join our pre-existing team of medical administration staff. We are growing orthopaedic practice in Blacktown.

The surgical practice comprises of a friendly, supportive and caring team.

Applicant should ideally have the following.

1- Work experience as a Medical Secretary ( mInimum 2 years)

2- Work experience in Gentu software.

3- Preferably experience working with a specialist before.

The applicant must be highly motivated, organised, willing to grow as a team and able to run the practice efficiently and professionally.

Main job tasks and Responsibilities
- General reception and administration support
- Preparing and conducting patient clinics
- Liaising with patients, invoicing and receipting payments
- Various billing
- medicare, private health funds, DVA, work cover
- General administration duties such as scanning, faxing, sending letters and other administrative duties as required
- Organising the operating lists
- ordering equipments, sending the operating lists to the hospitals and anaesthetists.

Skills and experience
- Medical administrative experience is essential in an Orthopaedics or specialist practice
- Experience using a practice management software (Gentu)
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to multitask
- Display discretion and confidentiality
- Professional presentation
- Must be a friendly team player and the ability to work well under direction and show initiative in a small team environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
