**About the Role**:
The Advisor, Workplace Relations is a member of the Workplace Relations team.
A key and active participant of the People and Culture team, this role is responsible for the provision of high-quality industrial and employee relations advice and support to key stakeholders to positively influence people management capability and outcomes.
This role works with the Manager, Workplace Relations to enable strategic outcomes and the Workplace Relations plan. Working within a centralised model this role delivers a service to all TZV sites.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Manage workplace relations matters such as employee or manager queries and provide high-quality written and verbal industrial and employee relations advice on matters pertaining to employee entitlements, policies and procedures, along with building strong and trusted relationships with key internal stakeholders.
- Advising stakeholders on matters requiring interpretation of employment legislation, organisational policies and procedures, and Enterprise Agreements.
- Assist the Workplace Relations team in the preparation of high-quality written documentation and plans and pertaining to consultative committees, enterprise bargaining and implementation, Fair Work, and other tribunal matters.
- Provide support to the Workplace Relations team and other stakeholders on multiple and varied cases including employee and union disputes and grievances.
- Responsible for policy drafting and review regarding industrial and workplace relations matters.
**About You**:
- Tertiary qualifications in workplace relations/employment law, human resources
- Demonstrated experience in a workplace relations/human resources background with proficient knowledge and interpretation of employment legislation and enterprise agreements.
- Ability to perform with competing deadlines, respond quickly to urgent/important requests and achieve effective results within given and at times tight time frames. Strong and structured approached to case management, tracking, and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to research, analyse and provide technical advice on employment matters
