Workplace Relations and Compliance Advisor

The Workplace Relations and Compliance Advisor plays a vital role in actively delivering, supporting and coordinating required activities for Enterprise Agreement negotiations. This is a key position that will work proactively to support the delivery and implementation of new agreements.

This role will navigate various workforce nuances to ensure the smooth delivery and implementation of Enterprise Agreements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Navigating complex workforce issues to support the delivery and implementation of new agreements.
  • Attending negotiation meetings and ensuring all necessary preparation, logistics and coordination are completed.
  • Contributing to projects and initiatives under the People & Culture Strategy and working collaboratively with the broader team.
  • Providing oversight and governance of relevant compliance and operational obligations.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives related to compliance activities.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, driven and knowledgeable individual with strong interpersonal skills and an understanding of workplace relations and compliance.

Key requirements include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or lesser formal qualification and extensive relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in a project coordination and/or compliance focussed role within a unionised environment.
