About this role
We are seeking an experienced Workplace Relations Advisor to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated and proactive individual to make a meaningful contribution to maintaining a healthy and sustainable environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on workplace policies and procedures.
- Lead a small team in managing grievance, performance, and conduct cases.
- Support managers in interpreting employment legislation and agreements.
- Assist in managing workplace disputes and employee grievances.
- Contribute to drafting and reviewing HR policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with workplace laws.
- Coordinate external providers for case referrals and advisory matters.
- Deliver training sessions on workplace relations matters as required.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of workplace cases.
- Provide guidance on performance management and disciplinary processes.
Requirements:
- A background in human resources, employment law, or a related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment legislation and workplace relations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex cases.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in managing sensitive workplace matters with confidentiality.
- A proactive approach to delivering tailored workplace advice.
