One of our clients, a local council within the Doncaster area, is looking for a Road Maintenance to join their passionate team.

This Job is a casual role; however, it will be for 38 hours per week and could lead onto gaining a full-time contract.

Your shift will start at 7.15am - 4.15pm

Pay Rate: $33.18 Per Hour + Superannuation.

Starting: ASAP.

The purpose of the role is to provide quality services in the provision of road maintenance and minor construction work including the maintenance of roads, shoulders, open drain, car parks, and paths.

**You will Need**:
Medium Rigid Driver's Licence.

Previous experience in road maintenance and minor construction practices and process.

Traffic Control & Worksite Traffic Management qualifications and skills.

Spotter and electrical safety awareness qualifications.

OH&S Induction (White card)

Experience and competency in operating various plant and equipment including skid steer, excavator, front end loader and forklift.

Experience working near overhead and underground services.

Ability to be part of a working team and contribute positively within a team environment.

Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to liaise with the general public with a strong focus on customer service.

**You will be**:
Carrying out all repairs to assets as per the Council's standards and specifications, in accordance with all safety and technical requirements.

Operating Councils trucks and other nominated items of plant as part of the road maintenance and construction operations.

Undertaking spotting for overhead and underground service authority assets.

Providing site traffic management and control activities, placing signs and safety devices out in accordance with Australian Standards and the Victorian Worksite Safety Traffic Management Code of Practice.

Operating plant/trucks as per the requirements of the position.

Keep plant and equipment used in good safe working condition.

Please Note - a Police Check, WWCC and Covid Vaccination status will all need to be obtained upon placement.
