Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Asphalt Multiskilled Operator.
This is a key role in our road maintenance team, responsible for preparing and applying micro surfacing to improve and extend the life of road surfaces.
The successful candidate will assist in cleaning the roadway, sweeping off debris, dirt, and loose material, operating and monitoring the micro surfacing machine/truck, mixing components, and ensuring the mix is properly spread and leveled onto the road surface.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and application of micro surfacing to improve and extend the life of road surfaces
- Clean the roadway (sweeping off debris, dirt, loose material)
- Operate and monitor the micro surfacing machine/truck
- Mixing components and ensuring the mix is properly spread and leveled onto the road surface
- Holds a valid HC Drivers Licence and has relevant experience
- Construction industry white card
- Ideally has industry or similar experience, however applicants from other industries with relevant attributes/licences are encouraged to apply
- Previous civil labouring/asphalt experience
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen
- Opportunity to work with a reputable company
