Seeking a Road Maintenance Worker to help our Road Maintenance & Drainage team keep things flowing across the Melton Shire | RDOs and annual increases, plus call-out allowances

We have an opportunity available for a proactive Road Maintenance Worker to support various road maintenance and drainage activities across the Melton Shire. This long-term contract aims to create a sustainable, vibrant, and safe environment for the community. Your contributions will be vital in managing roadside assets and ensuring well-maintained infrastructure.

About you

  • A can-do attitude and strong 'team player' with the proven ability to work efficiently with a team
  • Current MR Licence (HR Licence preferred)
  • Current General Construction Induction card
  • Traffic Control ticket (preferred)
  • CPR & First Aid ticket (preferred)
  • Previous experience in road maintenance, minor concrete works, Drainage works and general labouring is highly desirable
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong commitment to promoting a Zero Harm culture
  • Must be able to successfully undertake a WWC Check
