About the role: The Strategic Communications and Customer Experience team
delivers customer-focused communications outcomes, including
whole-of-agency media management, corporate communications,
marketing and creative services, digital development, and events
and
sponsorships.
The Team Leader, Digital Delivery will lead a small team of
digital practitioners in the wholistic management of the
Department's digital infrastructure including (primarily)
website properties, e-communications, digital service platforms and
software, and any other online communication stream as
appropriate.
The role is responsible for the delivery of digital/online
communication material in line with the Department's
communication objectives, providing strategic advice and input to
guide successful delivery of the department's information and
content.
The Team Leader, Digital Delivery is responsible to lead
the team in efficient content delivery, project planning, workflow
and implementation practices, data and list management, and advice
on best practice application of digital content More specifically, you will: Lead the digital delivery team and workflow to ensure effective and efficient provision of online communication through a range of departmental channels and communication streams in line with the priorities of the Department and its portfolio areas.
Review and evaluate digital content against internal and external trends, aligning with whole-of-Government standards and best practice guidelines, implementing improvements to the effectiveness of digital content, service delivery and performance.
Manage and develop digital communication frameworks, project plans, briefs, and any other strategies to support the creation of relevant, engaging and innovative content concepts, with project coordination of the delivery of content to delivery programs and initiatives in an online environment.
Manage digital content across various platforms including Content Management Systems (CMS), e-communications systems and any other distribution platform and establish and communicate processes, policies and protocols to ensure accurate style, tone, and branding, and in compliance with Government media standards.
Manage stakeholder relationships and work effectively and represent the agency, contributing expertise, building networks opportunities to collaborate with peers and other working groups and liaise with external and internal suppliers of goods and services supporting communications engagement initiatives.
Key Competencies: To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate: Advanced knowledge of digital content methodology, including content practices, formats, creative direction, delivery, distribution and management of digital infrastructure including websites, e-communications platforms, digital service and delivery platforms, and network analytics.
Knowledge of marketing and communications theory and methodology, with proven experience in applying contemporary digital media practices, strategy, planning project mapping/planning, workflow planning and implementation road-mapping.
Demonstrated experience in applying project coordination expertise to effectively manage the end-to-end lifecycle of content development project from planning to execution and delivery, stakeholder engagement and other associated activities.
Demonstrated experience in developing positive relationships with internal stakeholders, other public and private sector organisations and the business community to provide high-level advice and information on communications, marketing and digital delivery.

Qualifications: Essential: Nil Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or equivalent.
Special Conditions: This position will be offered as a full-time 12 month contract.
A Satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check (NPC) will be required prior to employment.
