About the role :

The System Performance Division leverages data as a strategic asset to improve educational outcomes by managing, analysing, and providing insights on data, fostering a data-literate culture, and supporting evidence-based practices.

It offers data analytics, business intelligence, and data governance services. The Data Operations and Service directorate manages data lifecycle functions, ensuring data quality, usability, and availability, and liaises with customers for requirements assessment and prioritisation.

The Business Partner team is the entry point for coordinating work within the Data Operations and Service Directorate, delivering business partnering services aligned with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Building and maintaining relationships with customers, internal teams, and external stakeholders
  • Managing customer requests from enquiry to delivery, including defining and documenting requirements
  • Collaborating with Business Analysts, Engineers, and Testers to establish requirements and solutions
  • Managing work schedules and communication plans
  • Keeping stakeholders informed on progress
  • Supporting reporting enquiries
  • Coordinating annual release activities

What we are looking for :

  • Experience in business partnering or project management, or relevant related experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • High attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver in complex environments
  • Effective time management and organisational skills

Qualifications : Essential: Nil. Desirable : Qualifications in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, Project Management, Communications, or related fields.

Remuneration :

ASO7 $108, ,864 annually (full-time), plus superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading.
