Join our team as an Attractions Host at Raging Waters Sydney
What you'll do:Greet guests with a friendly, engaging vibe.Deliver exceptional customer service from our slides, queues, and the pool deck.Respond clearly and helpfully to ride-related questions.Screen guests for ride safety (height, weight, rider combinations).
Support safe and smooth ride operations, dispatch, and unload.Manage express lines to ensure a quality experience.What we're looking for:Age 18+ (required for safety compliance).
Weekday availability (with flexibility for additional shifts during peak periods).
Strong communication skills-confident, clear, and approachable.A genuine desire to help and delight our guests.Ability to complete in house CPR/AED and Standard First Aid training (provided FREE).

Bring your energy, enthusiasm, and smile-and help us create unforgettable moments for our guests.Roles & Responsibilities:Positive interactions with guests to ensure that they receive quality serviceTactfully dealing with guests who do not meet ride restrictionsProvide a safe and fun environment for guestsOperate various attractions throughout the park in a safe mannerTo know and enforce all Raging Waters Sydney policies relating to service deliverySupervise Attractions at all times and ensure all policies and procedures are being followedTo adhere to Ellis & Associates Standards and GuidelinesRecognise problems and make decisions to help resolve the problem.
Effectively communicate serious nature problems to the Operations Supervisor or Operations ManagerAdministering CPR or other emergency care whenever requiredReport any faults that arise during the day.
Monitor the technical equipment for any machinery failure and maintenance requiredAssist in the development, implementation, delivery and review of policy and procedures that ensure Raging Waters Sydney meets its various obligations including financial, workplace health and safety, industry and legal requirementsTo carry out all duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Aquatics Team Leaders, Operations Supervisor, Operations Manager or member of the Management TeamWorkplace Health & Safety (WHS):Follow and comply with Work Health Safety policies, procedures and guidelines.Correctly use all safety and personal protective equipmentAct as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours.Report WHS incidents, injuries and safety activities to your direct Manager and First Aid at the time it occurs.Promote proactive hazard/ near miss reporting.
Report any hazards or near-miss incidents to your direct Manager and the People & Culture Director.Attend Work Group Meetings to discuss and promote safety.Education:EssentialEllis & Associates Health Care Provider Basic Life Support and Standard First Aid (provided through Raging Waters Sydney)Attractions Essentials Training (provided through Raging Waters Sydney)Current Working with Children CheckDesirableManual Handling TrainingConflict Resolution TrainingLanguages: Fluent EnglishSkills:Ability to lead by example.Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills.Familiar with the principles of quality customer service.Skills in the handling of various equipment.Ability to plan, prioritise and organise work, both on an individual and team basis, within a set timetable and in a team environment of change and competing demands.Think laterally and be able to apply logical thinking to solve difficult problems.Be able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.Ability to embrace change in an environment of resource constraint.Ability to work independently without direct supervision.Experience:DesirableExperience working within a water park environmentExperience working in the Aquatics IndustryAny other relevant comments:Must be 18 years of age or older.Ability to work flexible working hours including but not limited to weekends, evenings and public holidays.Adhere to the Company Code of Conduct policy.Represent the Company well internally and externally; convey a professional and positive image of the organization and business affiliates.Be able to work in all weather conditions including sun and rain, hot and cold climates, indoor and outdoor work.To carry out all duties and responsibilities as assigned by your Direct Manager, General Manager or any member of the Management Team.Adhere to the Employee Handbook content and requirements.You are required to have a high level of physical fitness, stamina and be physically fit.Team member benefits:Pay Conditions:This is a casual position until April with the ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and public holidays during the season.The hourly rates are in accordance with the Amusement, Events and Recreation Award.
Aquatic Attendants aged 20 years or older, are paid at a Grade 2 hourly rate of $28.46 per hour (includes casual loading).
