**About ELMHS**

Early in Life Mental Health Services (ELMHS) provides assessment and treatment for infants, children, adolescents, young people and their families. We work with the 0-18 age group in the Southern Region. We provide a comprehensive assessment service and a range of treatment options including inpatient treatment in times of crisis, community (outpatient) treatment, group programs, family therapy, and specialist services. We work with families in addressing a number of complex issues that families may be experiencing including school refusal, parent/child relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma related issues, self-harm, suicidal thinking, eating disorders, neuro developmental presentations and psychosis.

**About the Role**

**Core Community Treatment Team**:

- An exciting opportunity to lead a thriving, engaged team of multipdisciplinary clinicians led by consultant pyschiatrists, who provide clinic based mental health assessment, formulation and treatment to complex and acute young people in the South East. The Core Community Treatment Team provides medium term treatment for children, adolescents and their families in the City of Casey, City of Greater Dandenong, Shire of Cardinia and the Frankston and Mornington Peninsula area. We work collaboratively with families, schools and other agencies to create identified areas for change and work strongly from a relational and systemic framework.

An opportunity for the applicant to leadership as the Team Manager of the Core Community Treatment Team, there are 2 streams and 2 Team managers. 0-11 years stream and 12-18 years stream, within the Early in Life Mental Health Service for young people (0 to 18 years). The Core Community Treatment Team provides service-wide coordination of clinic-based individual, parent and 'matrix' treatment modalities. Matrix treatment refers to:

- Care coordination,
- Longer-term treatment where significant psychiatric risk remains and/or,
- Multi-modal treatment that requires more than one clinician to implement.

We have an ongoing, full time Team Manager opportunity available for 0-11 year old stream. The position is an Allied Health Grade 4, Psychologist Grade 4 level.

**A day in the life**

No two days will be the same as you work within an established, friendly and supportive team environment, working closely together to care for clients (patients) along with providing opportunities for staff development and growth in areas that staff are passionate about. Taking a team focus on delivery of care, our primary focus is on a patient's safe journey through theatre. We have a strong education focus and encourage staff to further develop their skills, along with being a part of a friendly and social environment to work in.
