About this Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Professional to join our team as a Core Services Specialist. As a key member of our infrastructure services team, you will play a critical role in managing and supporting our core platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support core infrastructure systems.
  • Lifecycle management of infrastructure solutions from introduction through to retirement.
  • Provide second and third-level technical support services ensuring response times are within agreed service levels.
  • Implement and monitor security controls for infrastructure systems.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures in relation to hardware and software infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years' experience managing large, complex Infrastructure Systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Server Platforms and Ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practice.
  • ITIL Foundation certification or demonstrated experience working in a service management environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing lifecycle processes (ie. design, build, and maintenance activities) in a comparable environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in producing technical documentation including build/as-built documentation and process maps.
