Your Impact
As a Systems Officer, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the performance and security of QLeave's ICT infrastructure.
Your contributions will directly support our ability to deliver reliable services to Queensland workers.
You'll be the go-to problem solver for complex technical issues, helping your colleagues stay connected and productive.
**What You'll Do**:
**Technical Troubleshooting**: Resolve complex issues across a range of systems, from desktops and laptops to servers and network devices.
**System Management**: Perform critical tasks like backups, firewall management, and server maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
**User Support**: Provide responsive, high-quality support to internal users, conducting IT inductions and guiding teams on ICT best practices.
**Technology Advisor**: Offer expert advice on hardware, software, and system configurations, helping users make informed decisions.
**Project Collaboration**: Work closely with the ICT team to implement innovative solutions, improve processes, and support business continuity.
**Security Focus**: Monitor and enforce ICT security policies, ensuring data protection and compliance with best practices.

You're a tech professional who enjoys solving challenging problems and staying ahead of the latest technology trends. You have a customer-focused mindset and a knack for simplifying complex technical concepts.
**Ideally, You'll Have**:
Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Intune).
Familiarity with cloud environments like Microsoft Azure.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles.
Hardware troubleshooting skills (PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals).
ITIL experience for incident and problem management.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
The ability to manage your time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
