About The Role

As a Business Systems Officer, you'll play a key role in business improvement by leveraging tools like Power Automate, SharePoint and Microsoft Forms, to streamline workflows, and create efficiencies. You'll also manage and maintain existing systems, such as 365 Dynamics, to ensure they are reliable, secure and aligned with operational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage QLeave's web and business systems and applications, including CRM and ERP systems, websites, Intranet, databases, and other purpose-built systems.
  • Undertake complex systems analysis, design, programming, and testing of web-based applications and databases.
  • Develop, document, and implement procedures and tools to maintain the high quality of all systems and applications development, ensuring adherence to QLeave, whole-of-Government and industry standards.
  • Leverage Power Automate, along with Microsoft Forms and SharePoint lists, to design and implement business process automation, streamline workflows, improve operational efficiency, and deliver innovative solutions that enhance business outcomes.
  • Maintain an extensive working knowledge of current and emerging digital technologies and trends to improve QLeave's digital strategy.

What We're Looking For

QLeave appointments are based on selecting the eligible applicant best suited to the position. We will assess your application based on your experience, potential for development, and your personal qualities.

  • Analyse, design, test, train, implement and support web-based applications adapting to customer needs and addressing issues or concerns proactively.
  • Develop simple project plans with measurable milestones, manage stakeholder expectations, and maintain clear documentation and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate in an ITIL-aligned team, contributing to continuous improvement by acting on constructive feedback and seeking guidance when required.
  • Design and implement business process automation using Power Automate, Microsoft Forms, and SharePoint Lists to improve workflows and deliver effective, user-focused solutions.

There are no mandatory qualifications for this role. However, practical experience with Dynamics 365, Power automate, or qualifications in PRINCE2 will be highly regarded.
