
Geo Execution Lead, Aws Strategic Growth Initiative, Aws Top 2000

The Geo Execution Lead will be responsible for driving the successful execution and scale of a worldwide AWS strategic growth initiative within Amazon's APJ region. This is a critical role that will serve as the central coordinating point between the worldwide team and the local APJ teams, ensuring seamless coordination, communication, and optimization of resources to deliver on the goals of this strategic initiative. The Geo Lead will work closely with the sales and GTM leaders, strategic account teams, and cross-functional teams to develop and oversee the deployment of tailored strategies for APJ. They will be adept at navigating APJ organizational complexities, identifying and resolving roadblocks, and driving alignment on APJ and worldwide priorities. A key part of this role will be managing regular cadences with APJ leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure transparent communication, issue resolution, and alignment on the worldwide strategy and execution. Strong program management skills, a customer-obsessed mindset, and the ability to influence without direct authority will be essential to success in this role.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of strategic account initiatives across APJ, including development of execution frameworks, standardized processes, and optimization strategies
- Drive business performance management through regular business reviews, data analysis, and actionable insights development for the region's most strategic customer accounts
- Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple business functions, serving as a key point of coordination between global and regional teams
- Design and implement change management strategies to drive adoption of new initiatives, including development of enablement materials and leading knowledge sharing across the region
- Manage cross-functional programs and stakeholder engagement through structured cadences, ensuring alignment between global strategic priorities and local execution plans

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Proven track record of driving business transformation initiatives across multiple countries/regions
- Experience managing relationships with executive-level stakeholders
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience working in or with multinational enterprises in the APJ region
- Demonstrated success in change management for large-scale organizational initiatives
- Previous experience in enterprise technology sales or strategic account management
